It's Easier than you Think...............to ship your items across the pond!
I send items to England on a regular basis and all have got there in a few days with no complications, so don't be afraid to offer it on your listings. There are a lot of British crafters/buyers lurking on MiM all looking to buy your items!

I also like to have artists send my gifts directly to my recipients too, why pay two lots of shipping, that's just plain daft......so get your shop ready to ship internationally as well as domestically.

I am hoping that in phase II, MiM will be able to offer expanded shipping options, but in the interim just post your rates for overseas in your Bio area and then hopefully potential shoppers from Britain will email you!

All you need to do is have some customs forms on hand to add to your parcel, use www.usps.com to calculate the price and away you go!

Remember there are 62 million people in the UK, all looking for lovely gifts!...........

Yes... it is easy. Lise gave me a quick lesson in shipping to England 101... very easy and shipping via USPS very inexpensive! Thanks Lise! :)

My husband won't let me ship overseas..........I have never mailed any thing outside of USA..............He said if I can't make here, I won't make it anywhere..............sounds like a song.......LOL.......................I guess I'll have to work on him..............any ideas?

Laura...... Tell him there are 62 million people in UK wanting to see your items! Ok, so some are kids, some don't look online, i hear ya........but that probably leaves 25 million potential customers............wow!

It's easy to ship overseas, esp to Europe, I mean the UK nearly became the 51st state in 1962 - they baulked at signing the papers at the last minute - true story!

Yes it's really pretty easy and you are widening your potential market in an enormous way.........the world has we have seen in recent months is truly global!

Do not listen to your husband, Just go to the post office and handle shipping it there yourself.
I live in the Uk, and send most of my items (jewelry) to Germany and USA, so there you are.

I ship to eveerywhere! It's never been a problem. Only non delivery I've had was here in the US, just to MD!!
